ACKNOWLEDGE HIM

Scripture Reading - Proverb 3:3-6

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. KJV

There are certain encounters we will partake of in this life, that are beyond the natural knowledge we have in our mind from our past understanding. There will be certain disappointments that we can’t explain no matter how hard the mind may search for the reason. There will even be prayers that seem to go unnoticed by God, but the Word of God has already given us an answer. The right answer for everything we encounter in this life, is to trust in God for our peace and joy and security. Notice that we must sow mercy and truth to other people by keeping those divine attributes firmly fastened upon our own heart. This is done by keeping a clear conscience according to the witness of God’s Spirit because we are always obedient to practice what we read in God’s Word according to the New Testament. When we are sensitive toward following God’s Heart we will see God’s favor in our life’s because we understand His Will for our life. That does not mean we will always understand everything that happens in this world. However, we will know which path we should take because we always acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His Word over the temporal circumstances of this world. If you don’t know the difference between making a right or wrong decision know that the Holy Spirit is with you to help in your decision making. If you are having difficulty in discerning who is telling you the truth or whispering lies into your ears acknowledge God’s Word and rely upon God’s Grace. If you are wondering exactly what your future holds know that God has already seen your future in Christ Jesus. The Lord will sustain and uphold you no matter what the future brings, if you let Him by prayer and study of His Word. The Lord is doing all He can for you simply because He loves you so much. Remember Jesus shed His precious Blood for you so that He could direct your paths. The Lord has done His part now we must do our part of displaying His mercy and truth to our fellow man. The Lord’s favor will surround us when we acknowledge His Words and His Ways. Jesus will straighten out our crooked paths and make plain His direction for our life when we trust in Him with all of our heart. Amen!
